Scarecrows in September. It is harvest time!

It is very common here in US to decorate the houses front yards with scarecrows during September. That is because this is a Harvest month, and all the farmers need to protect their crops from birds and other animals. So they use scarecrows along the fields to pretend to be the farmers themselves. Nowadays, to keep this tradition, people in the cities raise fake but fancy scarecrows to celebrate the Harvest.
